The Wendy House follows the Governments Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The Wendy House aims to support and guide the children so they may “learn through play” We offer a range of experiences and opportunities in line with the Governments Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Which includes:
- Personal, Social and Emotional
- Physical Development
- Communication and Language
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Included within each session is a “snack time” we ask for a small contribution each term to cover the costs. As well as a drink of either water or milk, we offer the children a variety of snacks including fruit to promote healthy eating. If the child is attending a lunch session we encourage parents to provide their child with a healthy lunch box.
Activities are varied and follow the individual childrens interests, these include painting, collage, music, dressing up, play dough, construction, small world, cooking, stories, games and many more.
